I have never seen a model with the correct date on all watches with date i saw only the small date like on the pics! Exist there any models with the correct date??? lovepanerai Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 Panerai's get a custom made date wheel and the replica makers use the standard one that comes with the Asian or the Swiss movement. Since they use those movements for different watches it would certainly not be economical for them to custom make a Panerai specific date wheel. wheaton26 Posted September 2, 2006 Report Share Posted September 2, 2006 welcome aboard! the best date's that i have seen are on the 40mm panerai's with asian valjoux 7750 movement. my brother has a 50 and i can't get over how good the date looks! here is a quick and dirty of a 48 from eddie's gallery ... all the best! chris.
