Problems w/ Clasp on DSSD

I just got a DSSD, and love it! I'm not even a Rolex fan...sorry about that. I got this watch by accident. I ordered it for a friend and when it arrived he didn't like it...too big for his wrist. For the price, I couldn't pass on it. It has become one of my favorite watches, rep or gen. I find myself reaching for it every morning. This is a bit unusual for me, as I generally prefer dress watches with leather straps. The DSSD has changed my thinking on the style of watch and the Rolex brand in general. That part is called the Diver's Extension .. you unfold that bit in order to quickly wear it over a diver's wetsuit.

Most people with a DSSD can't get that part OPEN, it's so tight ... I know I cant get mine to open.

A daub of epoxy is probably your best option here, until you replace it.

hey brian, i ordered two of these (one for myself and one for my father). my father's had the exact same problem as yours. they were both sent to the zigmeister for mods and he stated that it was a manufaturer's defect and could not be fixed. what i ended up doing was removing it completely. it's as simple as removing a link and was the only way to solve the problem without gluing it. best of luck!
