Hello my watch addicted friends. I was comparing my Gen GMT Master II to my friends new Gen Ceramic GMT today. We both noticed right away that his appeared to be larger.

So we took them off our wrists and I put them side by side and sure enough, it is larger. I have not read anything about this, so I thought I would post this here for input.

The crown is larger, the case is larger, the bezel is larger, and the band appeared larger. When was this change made? Is this larger size on the ceramic only?

Thanks guys...

Oh yeah, then the next question, is the ceramic Rep this larger size also?

The case is not bigger just squarer. Same with the CGs. Overall the measurement is only .5mm different. Rolex has basically gotten lazy and decided to use the same cases for everything. The GMT clasp is slightly different but I wouldn't be surprised if they end up using just one at some point.

Are you comparing a non-ceramic GMTII with a ceramic GMTII?

Yes, mine is a non-ceramic GMT II Circa 2002 model his is the new Ceramic GMT II Anniv. The case is definately bigger. I put them side by side. Its a bigger watch. It's beautiful. I love the larger size.
