Couple of questions about manual titanium cases.

How hard is it to remove the OP and BB numbers found on the corners of some titanium cases. I know these had been meant for the 036 and 082 reps, but I've got a few of these ti cases and what to remove them.

I was also wondering if titanium cases without the large strap lip/bevel/indent between the lugs are as rare as the SS ones without it.

You certainly can remove the etching on the case if you are talking about the old 36 cases. You will have to refinish the under side when you are done. I don't know the answer on the quality of ti cases generally though (i.e. is it worth going to all that effort).

How should I go about removing it? I know there are probably many ways, but I want to do it right the first time. And yes I'm talking about the old 036 cases.

The case that I used to build this 203A was actually an 036 case (even though it was originally delivered as a 118), and had these engraved numbers:

The numbers are very shallow, and I was able to remove them with a two stage blasting process: first with aluminum oxide to remove a little bit of metal, and then with glass beads to smooth things over. (It could then be subsequently brushed, if that's what you want.)

As requested, here are a few titanium 44mm Luminor manual wind cases that I've collected over the last few months (sorry the first pic is so dark).
