Specifically, I wanted to know if there any good watch shops (both gen or rep) that are worth looking into? I'm a PAM guy but love vintage Rollies. Unfortunately, I know absolutely nothing about them and what to look for, despite having read that there are some highly sought after parts/cases only available in Vietnam. There's a thread on RWG about this and I jotted down the names of a few shops. Once I get there however, I really don't have a way to judge what's what. As far specifics go, does anyone have any sort of primer as to what to look for in VN made rep parts and cases? Also, if any of you have been to VN or SE Asia, I'd love to hear about your suggestions for a good time (food, sites, islands, etc). Thanks. My wife and took our honeymoon over in cambodia.. I posted a few pics a while back per a request by Tee-Jay. You'll love the food if you like curry, and spicy flavors. If you have a chance to get to cambodia, seeing the temples in Angkor is definitely worth it! If you get to cambodia.. try the FRIED SPIDER.. it's delicious :-) my previous thread with some pics. Ho Chi Minh City is ~7 millions people, and the average temperature right now is around mid 90s F... Good for.. umm, massage very cheap. One hour of service costs about $7, with tip, $10/hour. If you travel with your wife/girlfriend, take a plane up North (Hanoi, the capital), ticket should be around $50 one way, Jetstar is the cheapest. Once there, visit Ha Long Bay, a Unesco site, two hours drive, for a 2-3 days cruise, or Sapa if you like hiking. Once done, travel to central Vietnam for beaches, Imperial city (similar to the Forbidden city in China but smaller), Emperor tombs if you really bored.. Hope you'll have a great trip. Below are some pictures I took last year during summer visit. Whatever you do, DO NOT FORGET to try out sugarcane juice drink, $.50/drink Look for this, yes yes, it looks not very clean isn't it? Sapa (North) Ha Long Bay (North) Hoi An (Central) Old town, another Unesco site, I don't have any decent daylight pictures, below is a picture taken at night at the beach.
