baltic
Haven't visited here for a while so I was just wondering what the availability of 7753 powered chronographs is these days - 196, 188 etc? Ta in advance...
kbiz
Discontinued long time ago brother... I should have bought one back in the day when they were like 800...
unregistered
Hold off. Got confirmed news that the asian version of the 7753 is due to make its debut post CNY. The 187 was being offered to a friend with the new movement. Obviously it needs to be taken apart and reliability reviewed, but its a good piece of news. Watchmeister
Can't wait to see the Asian version of the 7753. I haven't owned a 187 in years but I have been getting a hankering.
Jimster
It will be interesting to see if they solve the date issue.

Thanks, with the rumoured appearance of an Asian 7753 looks like a Swiss 7753 watch should command a premium Do they come up in FS often? unregistered
Well it depends on how you see it. There arn't any Asian 7753s so the swiss 7753s should command a high premium since they are the only ones that won't have the sunken date wheel issue. However, with the asian 7753 appearing, will people still put such a high premium for 7753s? Only the marketplace and time will tell.

kbiz
if they're rumored now that means it should only be another year and a half hopefully they fix the bezel markers on the 187 while they're at it...
