omgiv
Hi Guys, I just got my GMT IIC (IHS) from eurotimez yesterday and I am pretty impressed with the watch and serice. I have already taken off the bezel and insert to realign them and also regulated the watch. I am trying to get the clasp painted but that is proving more difficult than anything else. When I placed my order, I had ordered a genuine 2836-2 but just realized a day or so ago that it didn't go through in the order. I figured that I was going to get an ETA clone. While I was regulating it, I decided to look at the movement and see. From this site, one of the big tells is the shock absorber. I compared it to an extra genuine 2836-2 that I have and they look the same to my eyes. I was wondering if it was just me. I went ahead and regulated it even though it looked like it needs a good cleaning on the timer. I was also wondering what exactly they do to a 2836 to make it a GMT. I think that I have seen the CHS version with the dial off but don't remember seeing one with the IHS dial off. Has anyone else seen one? I plan on cleaning this one at some point and want to see what I am getting into. Thanks!! Original 2836-2 GMT IIC 2836-
