geneticlone
Hey guys, I want to get a birthday present for my father and I have been looking around for old vintage soviet watches. I found a great seller on eBay, it takes him about two weeks to ship to the US. Before, I bid on any of his items like this Soviet POBEDA. I wanted to make sure I could replace the cases on them. He specifies the sizes for all his watches, but I am not sure where too look for cases. Another, thing that I can see is how to replace the crown. What do you guys think? For example, how easy would it be to fix this one up:
J24
I have ZIM, made in the USSR, 24 years old, size 34cm, the mechanism is 1 to 1 as the picture on the link that you gave. Good watch, but the size a bit too small for me. This POBEDA Made in the USSR. The quality of the mechanism is good, the picture shows that the watch on the go, you should give them to watchmaker, would he cleaned, oiled and configure them.
