Is there a particular serial range for which they're appropriate? Or were they randomly dispersed throughout Rolex history? Thanks in advance. ubiquitous Posted March 1, 2010 Report Share Posted March 1, 2010 Fat fonts are what would be the original inserts from the Sub/SD 1570 caliber era as they were produced in this time frame. There are a couple of different variations; size of font, square vs. rounded and serifs are all characteristics of the variations out there.
