RickHiC
I'm building up a fiddy and am working on the hands. They were the traditional gold in appearance but after some polishing haven taken quite a lighter tone. I believe they are brass, and now I've got the polished trumpet look rather than the gold wedding ring look. Is that correct for gen? It's pretty much impossible to tell from photos without knowing the particular white balance and color cast.
PeteM
Here are a gen pair against white card on white gloss next to natural overcast light. Standard digital camera. The gold isnt yellow like cheap gold or say JF gold hands. Its like a polished light gold. Would it help if I took a photo of them next to an object you know that you can compare them next to in same light?
