And locally at least its usually possible to buy IWC straps and buckles without a serial number etc. I've also seen them online but I can't recall any links sorry. Hammy1 Posted April 5, 2010 Report Share Posted April 5, 2010 Steinhart straps are really nice. I believe I read somewhere Steinhart has their straps made by RIOS in Germany. I just ordered a RIOS padded dark brown buffalo strap for my 3717. I plan to order a German-made deployant (RDH, Axel Jobst, or similar) instead of the buckle if I like the strap.
