cougaree
Guys, Do you know where I can source an ETA 2824 movement with H3 or H4 cannon pinion? I have been looking for a while, the only ones I can find are with standard CP. I don't mind to have the taller CP installed on a standard movement, but the taller CP seems hard to find. Thanks and happy Easter!

cougaree
Really? Will it be a H3 or H4? Thanks!
Luna
Really? Will it be a H3 or H4? Thanks! I think the ETA website should be able to tell you the standard heights, and available heights for each movement, and which parts are interchangeable. The documents are here: ETA Service Portal EDIT to add: the 2836 is 0.45mm thicker between the crown and dial than the 2824, to allow for the day mechanism. Logically it would seem that the pinion etc, should be 0.45mm longer. Edited April 4, 2010 by Luna
Luna
See page 6 of the documents called 'Technical Communication'. There is one of these for each movement. The 2824 uses the H1 to H6, with H2 being standard. The 2836 uses H3 to H6, with H4 being standard. H1 and H2 would presumably be too small to allow for the day mechanism.
