tf108 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Hi guys, I'm currently looking at the Hublot Big Bang King 48MM from Andrew with Asian ETA 2829-2 movement and it's calling my name! But upon seeing it's 48MM, I frown. It seems LARGE. Does it wear larger than the Planet Ocean 45MM? I'm having the impression that 48MM is from the crown horizontally to the opposite side (which makes it 48MM, since both side are large.) Can anyone measure them for me (if you do own one)? Diagonally and horizontally (from the crown).. Also, from the top lug to the bottom lug (if you get what I mean..). Last but not least, 1. Is the Asian ETA 2829-2 a reliable movement? 2. Are there many major flaws in this watch? http://www.trustywatchguy.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=279_292&products_id=4445&zenid=f429a0bbf1ce99b9b1ea2e45afa03187
ray0244 Posted May 2, 2010 Report Posted May 2, 2010 Aloha, it measures about 55mm from crown to other side, wears like a Breitling SA. The Asian 7750 would be a better movement, simalar to gen.
tf108 Posted May 2, 2010 Author Report Posted May 2, 2010 Hi brother, thanks a lot for your reply! I know this is stupid but, could you measure your wrist using a ruler? Not the usual method of using that flexible tape, but, just a ruler across your wrist. Only the top. I would like to know, seeing the fit just fits your nicely.. Thanks in advance!
