none Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 Wow, check this out (bit too expensive for me!): http://cgi.ebay.de/AP-Royal-Oak-City-of-Sa...5QQcmdZViewItem
Watchmeister Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 He has been trying to sell the set for months. The problem is that a gen owner doesn't need another dial and the reps, if I remember correctly, do not have the same sub-dial functions in the same location.
none Posted September 14, 2006 Author Report Posted September 14, 2006 Wow - look at the condition, looks like these are the typical 30€ gen dials from the Swiss eBay seller with the bad conditions... yes, but some are fairly good.
ubiquitous Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 What you see in the pics isn't exactly always what you'll receive. It is my belief that this seller has several dials of each- I bought one of this seller's dials for a Seawolf that was advertised as NOS, but it arrived with scratches and obvious signs of use on the dial. None the less... Pricing was very reasonable, and I was able to repair most of the scratches. I was quite pleased with the results...
Linder Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 By adding matte or shiney varnish over the scratched areas?
ubiquitous Posted September 14, 2006 Report Posted September 14, 2006 yesh Here's how it started... And here's how it finished. Installed The big scratch to the right of the hands I was not able to eliminate completely, but it's much better than it was...
