Jon Martin
Hello fellas I just got back from the AD with a friend he just bought a Rose gold AP "rubberclad" and I'm feeling it Now I'm not loaded like him yet but I was playing with the idea of buying the REP RG. I bought a sec@12 stainless "rubberclad" when the sec@12 movt just came out on the rep scene. And it was a total FAIL the first one I got was DOA and the replacement they sent me only lasted a couple hours and then also died. Also the rubber came off and flaked REAL quickly pretty much within 2 weeks all the rubber was flaking off it was horrible. But then later I bought a Sec@12 Blue themes and it lasted for a good 9 months and then I sold it but it was a great watch. So basically my first question is how durable is the gold? And how durable is the rubber I thought I read somewhere they changed the rubber and made it a lot better but I'm not sure where I read that. So please let me in on the details fellas. nakortheblue
I remember someone mentioning that the RG rubberclad is one of the more accurate rubberclad reps around. As for the movement, it is not as bad as the seconds@6. Sending it for servicing especially with ZM or Francisco (they polish one of the gears for lower friction) would be a good idea. I think they have fixed the rubber flaking problem.

nakortheblue
Pick up Dani's. Double AR, re-lume, serviced movement, I think that one will last a long time.
Jon Martin
I'd like too but might be a lil out of my price range for now. I'll keep it under consideration for sure.
