Looking for an intervention. Please help!

1) Okay, wonky Asian tourby... It'll break

2) Can't pull off wearing a watch that cost.

3) I'd be better with an unbranded tourby because it would just be a conversation peice.

If 1-3 were helping me resist, I wouldn't be here for support. I need hard words and a talking to.

I'm thinking of buying a tourbi myself, looking at some in the $600 range.

I am hesitating right now, to me $600 is a fair amount.

In the back of my mind I'm wondering if the fascination with the tourbi movement will dissipate and I will become bored with it.

I worry about the same. I also worry about the movement becoming intoxicating and the rest of my collection becoming trivial to me. :/

Well, for myself, I can't see the tourbi overshadowing my collection, I've carefully chosen each watch and enjoy wearing each one very much.

I'm just curious about the chinese tourbillon phenomenon and the watch would fill a nice position in my collection.

If you really want it, I'd say go for it and enjoy.
