cougaree
Hi guys, I've see some ETA movement has the date at 3 o'clock position but some at 6 o'clock depends on the watch. Can someone tell me please if the date location dependent to the movement or date wheel? Thanks! Cougaree

Cougaree I'm sure you're referring to the SOH There are a couple of threads talking about this, just do a quick search. Anyway, my understanding is it does not matter where the date window is. Technically, it really doesn't depend on the mvmt or date wheel. More an asthetic design for the dial. However, if you are swapping an ETA to replace an asian clone, the date wheels are different. But, that is resolved cos it comes with the movement normally. Otherwise, not an issue.
cougaree
Well, if the date wheel from the asian clone doesn't fit an ETA, then I will be in trouble because the generic ETA font is different from Breitling's
