I recently discovered the 1665 and from what understand it is slightly larger than the standard Submariner. I looked at some sites for specs and it seems pretty close in size to my speedmaster. mjmj Posted June 11, 2010 Report Share Posted June 11, 2010 The 1665 is thicker than the 1680. It has a taller bezel and crystal and also the case is thicker. However the diameter is similar.
