wrxzzz
I have a ocean 7 LM-7 and gen omega ploprof dial. My watch smith has put the dial in for me but it is too small, leaving a 0.3mm concentric gap between the dial and case. I can't decide whether or not to go through with it! I love the look of the mat navy dial and the lume matches the hands and bezel perfectly. I'm just not sure if the gap will bother me too much to really enjoy the finished product. Below is a link to photos of the case with the gen dial installed. What do you guys think of the gap? Is it something I can live with or should I scrap the project? http://s953.photobucket.com/albums/ae11/wrxzzz/watches/ Edited June 12, 2010 by wrxzzz
wheaton26
my initial thought was that a gap would drive me crazy. but after looking at some pictures of the vintage omega ploprofs, it actually looks like they were constructed with a small gap like you have. check out ebay for reference and best of luck with whatever you decide!
