How to get rid of the Patina on a Croc strap?

do you mean the sheen of the strap or do you want to slightly distress it?...i used a little clorox/bleach to strip off the sheen on some straps...rub it on slowly to desired finish...be careful and test it out first...

I treat all my (non lacquered) straps with Lord Sheraton Leather Balsam. Available in the UK from Tesco. As it says on the lid, "Cleans, Revives, Polishes and Protects". Good stuff.

I treat the inside as well as the outside. Sweat from my wrist (on a very hot day in Italy) once ruined a very beautiful pale green croc strap as the brown dye of the lining soaked into the green croc (sob)
