Does anyone know if OEM Pre-A & Pre-V PAM models have spring loaded crowns???

Yes they do mate, the pre-V 201/A for example was a spring-load type, as well as all the others that followed until this day.

These were the type with two rubber o-ring seals installed on the crown nexk, rather than inside the crown tube, and came in that config on pre-V, pre-A and some A-series crowns.
