Velasco Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Guys, need a little bit of advice from the experts here. I've purchased a 6152 and I'd like to identify the origin of this watch, especially the case. Does this look like correct or wrong in any way to you? I. e. modern pieces, etc. Thank you. V.
donerix Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Not that I am an expert, but looks like a modified Fiddy case to me ...
PatronSaintofChainsaws Posted August 2, 2010 Report Posted August 2, 2010 Probably a DSN Fiddy case. The case-back, CG, and plexi all look like DSN parts to me.
Velasco Posted August 3, 2010 Author Report Posted August 3, 2010 Thanks guys for your anwers! I was guessing this could be an early version of the 6152 DSN that he built using a Fiddy case, but I'm afraid I'm not trained enough... More opinions would be highly appreciated. Cheers, V.
McClane Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 Thanks guys for your anwers! It seems a 1950 case, and other DSN parts, like glass and case back.
NoobyPanFan Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 I concur... Fiddy case (not sure if DSN). Like PSoC mentioned the CG, CB, crown and plexy are most positively DSN...
Clint Eastwood Posted August 3, 2010 Report Posted August 3, 2010 This case is not a dsn, i am 100% sure. dsn case have different side and more thin lugs. this case look like a getat or jacksontse. for me, the bestestcase to mod to a nice 6152/1
