urbanshogun Posted August 15, 2010 Report Posted August 15, 2010 i got my skyland yesterday morning, and it had taken a tumble in the post. The minute hand was loose, and just spinning freely. So i opened it and re-attached the hand. After this i noticed that the hour and minute hands were not moving, but all of the other hands work perfectly. I left the watch over night and the minute hand moved about 40 minutes. what could the problem be? and how can I fix it?
Rolexman Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 If you're not a watchmaker you can't fix it. It Could be anything.
RWG Technical Posted August 22, 2010 Report Posted August 22, 2010 Sounds like your cannon pinion gear is defective... If when you set the time you feel very little friction (best done with the movement out of the case) then the cannon pinion is defective and has to be replaced/repaired, common issue on un-serviced A7750's, not a DIY repair unfortunately.

Ah I thought it was beyond me, I sent it back to the dealer for repair, thanks for the reply
RWG Technical Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 Understood, hopefully it will get fixed...
