Advice on Mare Nostrum please....

I got one from a member on RG about a month ago or so, I've had no problems whatsoever, until today. I went to wind the watch, and after 5 or 6 times of winding it, then it felt like all gears just disconnected, and you couldn't wind it anymore. Anybody familiar with this new movement, is it worth it sending it for repair. It just feels like when you are winding it , and the you let it go, it becomes unwound again. It might be something simple, but who knows.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
