davesmystery
I just recently found this forum, which is perfect because I've recently become interested in the inner workings of watches and what makes each watch so different. I currently work at my uncle's jewelry store where I have to chance to tinker around with some old watches and learn about the movements and such. I'm a huge fan of the Rolex Submariner, mostly because of it's minimalistic looks and functionality. While I hope to one day have a real one, I'm thinking a great replica might be a great way to bridge that gap and learn about watches until such a day comes. I look forward to reading and learning more about watches!

davesmystery
Thanks guys, I appreciate the warm welcome! I'm having a field day roaming through old posts learning the differences between the movements and "the glossary" if you will. I'm really looking forward to my first rep purchase once I learn enough to be competent with what I'm discussing. I'm guessing I will probably go with the old noobmariner standby to get my feet wet.
