UK Rolex Sea Dweller Insert / Pearl Fix

I'm looking for someone (preferably in the UK) who can fix my ultimate sea dweller. I tried to change the pearl myself as the standard one was chipped but by removing it and then trying to make the hole big enough for the new pearl to fit I seem to have scratched / chipped the insert.

Ideally I'd just send the watch off and have it delivered back to me with a new insert and pearl.

Any recommendations?

your insert is toast, forget it. remove it and install a new one from watch material which includes the best aftermarket pearl you can buy. you may have to sand down the insert so it fits properly and even use hypo cement to set it pseudo permanently

I've already got the replacement pearl from watch material

The problem I'm having is making the hole at the top of the insert big enough for it to fit without making even more chips on the insert...

Alternatively if I order a full insert and pearl from watch material is it easy to fit? The sanding bit is worrying me after the damage I seem to have caused by just trying to fit a pearl!

ooo, the hole looked too large already. which was i was recommending the watchmaterial pearl thats already installed in the insert. what i use to enlarge insert holes was a round file, push it down to the desired width and turn a few times.
