Watch modding in the UK

Hi all,

I am looking for a watch modder in the UK, somebody that is trusted by people on these forums.

The reason is I prefer being face to face so Id rather find a local dealer that will

upgrade my watch with gen parts, or relume the dial and hands, or AR coat my chrystal.

please advise me on where to find these modders in the UK,

If you try the search button you will see this question get asked regularly and always with the same answer mate.

The simple answer is no, if you want a modder in the EU, so no customs issues then go to Domi. See my link in the signature or search Bricciola

Or there are some UK watch smiths who will repair reps, some of these are listed in all the other threads with this question. But as far as I am aware no modders.

If you want a repair then you can try approaching small watch smiths typical old fashioned type places or maybe the ones in out the way places and ask them after a general chat but be subtle you will know whether you can and you dont need to be direct.

I know it can be a pain given the responses you can get with the search tool but it is your best answer to a lot of noob questions. And does mean trail and error on the key words and trawling through pages of thread titles but we have all done it and most of us still do
