croco leather strap care?

I have bought months ago an expensive beautiful blue genuine croco leather stap and i am woriing about the longetivity of my strap. Everything seems ok until now but what will happens in the future? I am wearing the strap every day and you know, i wash my hands and the strap gets some water...

What do you do to prevent the aging and finally the destruction of the strap??

Any special product treatment?
