ReveillerReve Posted November 16, 2010 Report Share Posted November 16, 2010 Hey guys, I was hoping that someone could offer me a bit of advice on what the issue could be with this PO movement. It's the 21J movement model, not the A7750. The second hand seems to run for a few minutes and then get stuck at either the five or the six markers and after ample shaking it'll get going again for a few minutes and get stuck again. Rolexman Posted November 17, 2010 Report Share Posted November 17, 2010 If the hands aren't touching anything it's probably caused by dirt or a lack of oil. My guess is that the balance caps are dirty or dry and are causing too much drag... If you don't know your way around movements bring it to your closest watchmaker or throw it away. Repairing a cheap 21j movement is a pain in the @ss and will probably cost more than the entire watch. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
