Prsist
Looking at subs too but the glide lock scares me. I had a DSSD and it was just too big for my wrist.
Irontomkidd
No. I was at the AD last week looking at both… the DSSD has the pull bar on the outside of the clasp to adjust the glide lock, and the sub doesn’t. On the sub you yank down on the bracelet to release and then slide. I have to say that the DSSD has an amazing feel of quality, the bezel movement is smooth, the feel of the steel is smooth as silk. I just ordered one from BK and if it gets the wrist time I think it will… I may have to get the Gen. SUB Glidelock Gen Rep, I think?
d-rock
I've had both of BK's newest offerings..DSSD and Ceramic 116610. It's as irontom said, the DSSD has the flip up down the center of the clasp allowing for adj., the New Sub glide lock adjusts from the inside of the clasp. BOTH styles of Glide Lock Clasps from BK performed flawlessly for me. hint...get the checkbook ready, my friend. If the DSSD is your "holy grail" the quality of BK's DSSD will send you out to purchase a gen. His is THAT good. And his Ceramic Sub is too. Irontomkidd
@Rock I’m sure the quality will be top notch I just don’t know about the size of the thing, it’s so tall and bulky. @Prsist Are you in Missouri? I have been working in STL all week.
