Watchmeister Posted November 28, 2010 Report Share Posted November 28, 2010 Don't know the web site but if it sounds too good to be true....The forum goes to a lot of trouble to provide trustworthy dealers. I would utilize one of them. Here are my hints for evaluating new dealers: Hint #1 - Look carefully and if the site is showing gen watches run away.That is usually my first sanity check when contemplating a new dealer Hint #2 - If you are seeing listings for a number of reps no one is offering here they probably don't exist or if they do they are the $10 version Hint #3 - If the prices vary dramatically from the dealers around here (up or down) that is a warning sign. At this point many of the best reps are being authorized by larger dealers so if you are seeing dramatically different prices it is either a different watch or none at all. Finally with the recent dramatic improvements in dealers - investing in gens for better accuracy, providing QC pics, etc. going to the right dealer makes ever more difference- especially in the shady rep world.
