AlexGucci
The replica Rolex steel and gold are recommended or better all-steel replicas? I've never bought a gold replica but I really like this. What do you think experts? http://www.yourtrustytime.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_10&products_id=615 Thanks guys
By-Tor
The gold replicas are always "hit and miss". Nobody can tell from the pictures how good the plating/wrapping is. That particular YM is not very accurate. The crystal/rehaut combo is terrible and the cyclops is positioned too right on the crystal. I would only buy Noobfactory or WM9 modern Rolex reps. The other Chinese factories don't seem to get them even remotely correct. Check my review section, there's plenty of stuff about gold and other reps. Good luck! By-Tor
You're welcome. When I first came to TRC, I was looking for two-tone Rolex reps as well. I owned many of them. Generally they're disappointing. What looks good in the pictures can feel flimsy, cheap and fake when you actually receive the watch. But then again the lightweight gen TT Oyster doesn't feel very sturdy, either. Then there's the gold wearing off issue. There ARE rep TT bracelets that are decent quality but like I said it's hit and miss. If you want a good TT rep, buy a TT Navitimer or BCE. 'Lings have much heavier and nicer bracelets and even the gens are just gold plated (believe it or not).
