mikellem Posted October 2, 2006 Report Posted October 2, 2006 If you become an RWG Supporter, I can give you a method to remove the back very easy? Ok...Maybe if I go first, then you will join! Take a roll of duct take, roll up into a sticky ball. Take the sticky ball and open the back easilly! This should work for you! Good Luck! -MM

gruvemeister Posted October 3, 2006 Author Report Posted October 3, 2006 LOL///// well , I hope I can get it opened w/ gloves. just worrying about the glass on the back.
gruvemeister Posted October 3, 2006 Author Report Posted October 3, 2006 Guys im surprise by the effect of the Power Gloves. it works, just I still don't have the available screwdrivers to remove the movement. ill buy one Thanks guy
Usil Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Duct tape is good but there is a valid concern about the back glass coming out. I used duct tape on a IWC power reserve and the glass DID come out. Putting it back in was easy but I found out that the fit was way too loose and came out easily again. I guess it was better to learn this early so maybe it was a good thing. Usil
gruvemeister Posted October 4, 2006 Author Report Posted October 4, 2006 Yeah, Rubber gloves really works, it's like handling the watch case w/ both hands and your both thumbs in the watch case back, then slowly bend your left thumb downwards and the right thumb upward w/ a slight force. slowly the case will turn counter clockwise until it's loosen.
V Posted October 4, 2006 Report Posted October 4, 2006 Yeap.. rubber gloves are the best way to open the watch
