Deca5 Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 What is the consensus on paying $50 or so extra for 'waterproof' service on a rep costing over $250? I've seen some replicas state that they are water resistant to certain depths while others just say water resistant. Assuming that I won't be diving in the watch, is this service worth it or when a rep says 'water resistant' would that cover activities such as swimming, showering or hand washing?

mastrmindalliance Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 My local mall guy will do a non-chrono for $25 (unless there's leakage at the crystal). i think this is a better option as you can see it being done.
