Marv1nn
Hey guys, I have a 232 I'm on the fence about. I got it from DSN, and it's a nice piece but I think if I can't move it I may want to improve it. Is it possible to get a case set from the Cartel without buying the whole watch? The distance the crown is from the case on this piece is also a point of aggravation for me. Is it possible to get that closer by trimming the tube? Do you guys have a modder that you'd recommend specifically for this task? Thanks in advance!
hambone
I don't think you can get a better case from anyone else that is as good as DSN's 232. I have a 232 from Trusty, which I like, however the DSN my friend has is better quality. You could mod the DSN I suppose, but as it is, the watch is pretty damn close to the gen. I have always wondered why the 232 is not as popular a rep as other pams. DSN has the lugs down pat and that is what is wrong with most other copies of this classic design.. txcollector
Case from the carterl, dial/hands from DSN, that's the best combination. Tony at asian7750 can get you the case. I'm working on shortening the tube as well. Two options: 1) file the tube but that might damage the threads 2) replace the tube I'm going to try 1 and if it fails, 2.
