First Addition

Hey all,

Let me start by saying that I am a newbee in the world of rep watches. So I am posting my first purchase and hopefully get some advice in terms of the product purchased and how it stacks up in terms of standards. If it doesn't stack up, then I would greatly appreciate some constructive critisism in terms of what I should of looked for in terms of rep vs gen.

I must add though that I am really pleased with what I got and it took me about 3 months to choose the watch.

First off mate...Congrats Wear it well

There are a number of threads discussing the new Flybacks etc, of course this one the 213 will have the more r less the same flaws as the others given they came from the same factory.

The CG lever doesnt look fully closed in your pic?

The main flaws with these but are really being picky now

The crystal distortion at the slopes is more than gen, of course gen is sapphire...this is mineral/synthetic

The numerals are over so slightly off especially the 6

REGTM position on CG etc

Stack is off to gen

Lume isnt as good as gen but still great rep lume

Faux Pusher (of course)

Movement is incorrect

Case shape and construction is off per gen

Some finishing on the case is not per gen notably the chrono pushers

CB inscriptions are slightly off to gen

Font on dial is slightly thinner and off to gen

But overall this is a great watch, I love them....I am just being anal mate You couldnt spot most of these flaws without having the gen in your hand to compare. I do have these myself so I aint trying to make you feel bad mate and I am happy to wear mine though I did redo the pin and CG slightly as I wasnt quite happy with it..

Thank you for the feedback, I battle to sleep without it on my arm so yes I will wear it with pride and the numerous ones to come

The CG lever was not fully closed!

It truly is insane getting imput like this and having the watch in my hand. Reading it and spotting the flaws, real crazy.

The numericals that is slightly off was one of the things I looked for in terms of purchasing as I did note that as one of the noteable deviations.

And yes the movement as you mentioned 7750 Asian Valjoux - I stand corrected?

The rest is all new to me and will indevour to select more causiosly from now on, which means I am gonna be even more anal and will take me and extra month to choose!
