Some differences in DW cases?

I found some differences in my DW cases, one is a 7750 case, the other one is a V72. It looks like my V72 case is somewhat rounder around the crown, while 7750 case has two slopes coming down from crown.

I think I remember some discussions about DW changing the area around the crown a few years ago, almost right after DW surfaced in our rep markets, is that the case here?

Looks like there is light variation in gen cases as well:

6239 rounded:

From my readings, there are two distinct case profiles for the 6239. I'm not aware of similar sub-types for the 6263.
