relaxman
Just got my 005 back from Katt with it's newly installed highbeat Seagull ST-36 . What a nice improvement. Runs great, sounds great and winds smooth as silk. No more ticking like a wall clock . He also fixed the wobbly crown guard lever.. As a gen Panerai owner I'm still impressed with the quilaty of this watch.

relaxman
It is indeed a great strap! It's made by Kain Heritage . Mine is the veteran sub. Awesome service . They even come with a strap and watch travel case. Planning on ordering the black one next.
trombone
thanks for the information. i have to get me one for my 005K and maybe it would suit my incoming 026 good too. what do you think? is it available with black stitching?
ATEspo
Where can I find a Seagull ST-36 movement? I have been dying to swap this movement out of my 318 because of how noisy it is. What other branded or sterile movements can be used that are less noisy?
relaxman
Trombone check out their website kainheritage. They do have black stitch which would look amazing on the 026 or 005!! Atespo . I purchased mine on eBay. I think it was 42.

Jefe
Are there any tutorials on swapping the 005 movement? I'm planning to do this myself - got the highbeat Seagull too. Sead on RG just posted that he's had a hell of a time with these movement swaps... has me a bit nervous.

supermanx
I just swapped the movement on my 219, it was a member purchase and arrived broken (center wheel/cannon pin). It really wasn't that bad but the 219 had the dial feet ground off and no dial dots, can only assume thats what broke the cw. Hands ended up working fine even though I bought a 111 set based on seeds posts. Used dial dots to secure the dial and its working great.
