Personally I think you need a 7"+ wrist to really pull off a pam - but as has been said, depends on the shape of your wrist and the rest of your forearm IMO.

Anybody can pull off a pam 44mm in this day and age IMO. If you have any doubts, just do some wrist/forearm exercises once a day. They help.

How big is too big? I can end this, how about 55mm (not including the Big Pilot Like Crown). The watch? A Revue Thommen B-Uhr. Looks like a big pilot watch but is the actual size used by the WWII pilots which is 55mm (minus the crown) and in the war the original was meant to be worn on the outside of a flight jacket or straped to your leg. I wear the watch fairly often and have learned that watch size is relative. If you wear a big watch for a while it becomes normal and you don't notice it.

Summary - watch size is relative. Like Gilles Villenueve's (race driver) wife (JoAnne) stated in an interview "Speed is relative, if you drive fast regularily it does not seem fast...........same with watches, if you wear big, it does not seem Big.

So I am off to drive fast wearing a BIG watch, Take care.
