andreww Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 All great watches but the no-chrono version is the most accurate. On the chrono models the gen uses an ETA 2892 movement I believe. The rep uses a modified A7750. Even though they have reworked the subdial spacing, the positioning of the pushers is incorrect, symmetrical on the rep and asymmetrical on the gen. Also the datewheel is recessed on the rep. On the non chrono model the only glaring flaws are the pearl sitting too low in the triangle (exists on the chrono as well) and the lack of a decent blue AR coating, although I believe Omega has changed to a clear colored AR recently if I am not mistaken. Both are nice but the non chrono is far more accurate. That said, go with the one you like, as you are not likely to ever run in to someone with enough knowledge to be able to point out any of these flaws.
