Having waited ages getting AP parts together for a 36mm royal oak, I decided to modify a rep dial and use the eta movement so I could wear the watch in the mean time.

Then I noticed the case was too tall, and is no longer produced.

Ooops ! then bracelet broke at the weld- unfixable, so its farewell to the project.

I m going Gen I ve decided so if you see a 14790st white dial box and papers floating around, think of me and my poor old rep and give me a shout

I m going to keep the JLC 889/2 movement so I have spares for the 2225 should I ever need them.

And they say reps harm the brand, rubbish it just drives you to them as the pos's always fall to bits
