superlative
I got a response from the seller: "Thank you for your message. We are a Registered eBay Drop Off Location and therefore are not experts on watches. This was consigned with a number of other higher end watches so we did not have reason to question it. We would very much appreciate if you could share your expertise with us and explain what makes it a replica."
Lobster
Ok we can have a list : - On the dial, the "IWC" font is incorrect. When "IWC" was combined with "International Watch Co", the IWC font looked more like > IWC. Then again the following is a better example : http://www.tz-uk.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=139028&start=0&st=0&sk=t&sd=a - The subdial's circumference is very small in comparison with all vintage IWC models. - The screws at the back are very low quality. - The breaking up of the spelling of "Schaffhausen" is a no-no. IWC would not do that. - No record of a Number 45, even if it was limited edition. - The movement is 100% not IWC manufactured. - You can see the + and - indicator near the mainspring and there is no regulatory tool to change accuracy :S - There has not been an IWC movement with that IWC emblem on it! Tell the seller he can stop lying. If this is a true vintage watch, the starting bid will easily be $500 MINIMUM!
