none
Hi there, I would like to adjust the pace of my Tag Heuer Link Chrono. I have seen pics of how to do it. Unfortunately I don't know how to open the caseback. Can anyone help me with this? The caseback seems to be very difficult to remove with force... Thanks, None
ubiquitous
Are you using a wrench? Or going about it with the tape method?
none
Are you using a wrench? Or going about it with the tape method? To be honest, I am not using anything in particular... please explain to me these 2 methods.
ubiquitous
Well... A case wrench is a tool specifically for the opening of casebacks: The tape method is basically taking a piece of packing or duct tape, crumpling into a ball (sticky side out), pressing a sticky side to the case back, and while applying force, turning the caseback and tape ball counterclockwise to unthread the caseback. vlaletom
Not to bee rude ore anything but this topic has been covered a zillion time. basically there is 3 way: 1) Just by hands with platic glove, if it resist solution 2 2) making a ball of Duck tape, the apllying firemly the ball to the casqe back then turning, if it resist solution 3 3) with the apropriate case opener, universal opener with 3 adjustable branch and various heads is quite versatile but for rolies i recommand the real tool (anything like a bergeon 5537) or you will easily scrach the case. none
Thanks for explaining it again, I will see if I can do it myself. I'll let you know. UPDATE: I succeeded opening the caseback by using a plastic glove. Guys, I appreciate your help!!!
