Monte Carlo stem thread diameter

Hi: I finally got the Tudor Monte Carlo package from David. Great looking case. I have a problem to fit the crown that came with the case though. The stem's thread's in the movement is 1.2 mm. The crown that came with the case has a diameter of .98 mm. Does anyone know what to do about this ? I was told by my watchmaker older movements come with that wider thread in the stem.

you need a stem with 0,9 mm tap size.... can be easily found on the bay
