unregistered
So this is how the rep came as stock; and here are the steps I took; Disassembled the bezel assembly first to take a look if I could get at the lume triangle; Seems that its actually just a painted metal plate... So scraped it clean. Next was to disassemble the watch and get at the dial and hands. I tried mixing my own "black" lume up, but that failed quite miserably, as such, I've just kept it as it is right now, unlumed. Used Tamiya TS-80 matte spray on the dial then Tamiya flat flat in a very wide spray to get the right shade I wanted and not wash out the words (though a the automatik isn't as clear now though Anyhow, reassembled and here is the finished product, With its other Tempus Hour Glass gen counterpart
drbatz
I like it Actually I was thinking about the same thing...but never bought the watch. My plan was, to spray only the lume dots and the hands! Love the stealth look
unregistered
I'm going to redo the lume on the hands, they are a little too stealth, needs to be a shade lighter I can't see it that clearly now
