So this is how the rep came as stock;

and here are the steps I took;

Disassembled the bezel assembly first to take a look if I could get at the lume triangle;

Seems that its actually just a painted metal plate...

So scraped it clean.

Next was to disassemble the watch and get at the dial and hands.

I tried mixing my own "black" lume up, but that failed quite miserably, as such, I've just kept it as it is right now, unlumed.

Used Tamiya TS-80 matte spray on the dial then Tamiya flat flat in a very wide spray to get the right shade I wanted and not wash out the words (though a the automatik isn't as clear now though :(

Anyhow, reassembled and here is the finished product,

Actually I was thinking about the same thing...but never bought the watch.

My plan was, to spray only the lume dots and the hands!

Love the stealth look
