Bracelet Fitment Fix

Any way this can be fixed without getting a gen part? ( it may not fit anyway too)

I recently had a gen vintage rolex buffed by my buddy. Showed him this milgauss and says he could try building it up with silver, fit to spec, re brush, and fit....no promises though on color matching.

Anyone ever try this or any other remedy?

The gen Milgauss has a perfect fit...seemed absolutely gapless ...it seems newer Rolex's stepped up their bracelet to watch fit these days.
