Dr Dru
Hi guys, Thanks for all the valuable information on Tudor snowflakes. But the vast amount seems to be giving a headache as well too. I've just bought a Phong's 94110 since it was already built up and was on sale. I was told that he was using an ETA 2846 for the watch. My question is that, are there any newer or alternative versions of that movement (drop-in replacement equivalent) that i can use? I understand that 2783 and 2784 can be used but I like the idea of using a newer movement in case of breakdown. I will also like to change the dial in future (probably a Yuki's blue snowflake dial) so dial feet position is an important consideration as well. I've read somewhere that all ETA movement have the same dial feet position? Is that true? Anybody in Singapore can direct me to a reasonable watch repairer as well? I'm sorry that there's more questions than stated on the title. I hope they make sense. But i really appreciate any help or pointers. Thank you very much! Regards, Andrew
Dr Dru
Can the mods please edit my title of the post. It is supposed to be 2784 NOT 2874. Thank you.
FxrAndy
Just use a 2846 for a the same beat as the 2784, they are easy to get and parts are available and a tried and tested design
