danielbar@gmx.de Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 Hello together, I have a Tag Heuer Calibre Tachymetre at home.It is my favourite watch and i have worn it almost every day the last three years. Two weeks ago the watch stopped ticking. I have contacted Domi to repair it and he told me that it is no problem. He will make a full revision and after that the watch will work again. But now i think maybe it would be better to buy the same watch again and then it is new. The dudtance between buying a new one and full revision isnt too much. So what do you guys think? Should i buy a new one or should i repair it?
Utheman Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 I'd have Domi service it. He'd put it back together better than the chinese factories sometimes put together a new one
danielbar@gmx.de Posted July 4, 2011 Author Report Posted July 4, 2011 ok... are there any other recommendations? or is there nothing to add?
Jkay Posted July 4, 2011 Report Posted July 4, 2011 ok... are there any other recommendations? or is there nothing to add? There is no guarantee that a "new" chrono watch will last as well as the one you own. After a high quality service from Domi, you will have 5 years of good life. Maybe a new one lasts 3 years again .. Maybe 2 months!!
danielbar@gmx.de Posted July 4, 2011 Author Report Posted July 4, 2011 Ok...i will send the watch to Domi today Thanks
