So, it sat unwanted and I struck a deal. Got the watch in no time....,.pun intended :D

After 3 days, here you see that it hasn't lost a single second:

Then, I decided that the whole polished look was getting a bit old. Especially since I picked up this Davidsen beauty from Chris:

So, I decided to give the GMT the brush off......err.....rather on. I went at it for 2 days and here for your comments.....are the results.

Fire away :black_eye:

And honestly, after over a week, this watch has gained 1 second.

Thanks Stephen and Chris.

What a great place :thumbsupsmileyanim:

Watch looks great. What did you brush it with? :)

Thanks.

I started with a 100 grit to remove the polished surface and take down some marks from strap changes. Then went to a green 3m pad (not sure of grit but it is very fine), then a 180 grit followed by a cape cod cloth. Then again with the 180 grit and a follow by the green pad and a final light rub down with the cod and my hands.

Maybe not a look for everyone, but my concern is not that it look like the "Gen". Rather that I like the look.

Regards,

Kurt.
